    I was born in St Helens, near Liverpool<\/strong> in the UK. I<\/span>\u2019ve been an English teacher since 1994 and have\u00a0worked in the UK, The Czech Republic, Greece and Italy.<\/strong> I have lived in Pistoia, Tuscany since 1998.<\/span><\/p>\n

    I have been preparing students for Cambridge exams for over twenty years<\/strong> and I became a Speaking examiner in 2018<\/strong>. I am passionate about helping my students to pass exams.<\/p>\n

    I\u2019ve been teaching English for 25 years, and I\u2019ve been a Cambridge examiner since 2015.<\/strong> I\u2019ve gained part of the
    Cambridge DELTA qualification. I love languages and teaching, in fact I also speak Italian, Spanish and French,<\/strong>
    and thankfully my 13-year-old daughter is learning too!
    In my free time I enjoy reading (especially crime fiction), and (when possible!) travelling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Why did we create Pass Cambridge Exams?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

    My younger sister is dyslexic<\/strong>, but she didn’t find out about it until she finished school.<\/div>\n

    In her last school year, while reading an article about the characteristics of dyslexic people, she found that she met all of the criteria.<\/strong> She was tested and dyslexia was confirmed.<\/div>\n

    <\/b>While she was studying physiotherapy at university, she was helped by visits to a speech therapist<\/strong>, and her grades took a 180-degree turn. Learning required half the effort, and her results were much better.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Now she has two beautiful daughters, and both have dyslexia<\/strong>, each with different characteristics. They study in a trilingual school, Spanish – English – French, and the languages require quite a lot of hard work.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    I lived in the UK for 6 years, so when I saw the difficulties my nieces had, I started working with their speech therapist and Mercedes, who is a teacher specialised in teaching English in the UK to dyslexic students.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Learning a language in the traditional way can be very frustrating for dyslexic students.<\/strong> For this reason, our<\/strong> training courses have been fully created to the dyslexic <\/strong>way of learning. They will help them improve their English and also learn a way to study any language.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    All the content of the courses has been created to help dyslexic students enjoy and make learning an easier process.<\/div>\n

    However, this is a website for everyone who wants to learn English, not only for dyslexic students.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
