If you have learnt British English use it in all parts of the exam. American English is also accepted. However, you cannot use both.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are two versions of this exam:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>School-age learners<\/li>\n<li>Adult learners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reading and Use of English:\u00a0<\/strong>We recommend you read magazines, journals, newspapers, books (non-fiction and fiction), promotional and informational materials. Practice English grammar and vocabulary skills often.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing:\u00a0<\/strong>you will have to write two different pieces of writing. An essay in the first part and choose from a letter\/email, proposal, report or review in the second part.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Listening:<\/strong>\u00a0you will need to follow and understand interviews, radio broadcasts, presentations, talks and everyday conversations. We recommend listening to the radio (BBC Radio 4), podcasts, TED, news programs, and if you are not living in an English speaking country we recommend watching TV programs and movies in English.
